| First Alfa Romeo 147 meeting on June 23, 2002 |
| The first 147 meeting, organized by two alfisti
(Bas van Oosterwijck and myself) has been a great success. At 11.00 we
were welcomed by one of the most famous dealerships in The Netherlands,
Sam van Lingen. We were of course curious who would arrive at this day because nearly all contacts were made by the Internet. We were happy to see that almost everybody arrived and it was great to have some alfisti from Belgium as well. It was clear that all entries are real lovers with a Cuore Sportivo. Only one of the cars has standard equipment, all the other have sport exhausts, lowered their 147, have bigger light alloys or even a complete body kit. After one hour we took are cars for a spin through the middle of The Netherlands and completed the day with some drinks and a lunch.
